GETTING GREEN WITH CLEAN AIR

Of course there are also government targets and legislation to consider - by example the Energy Performance Buildings Directive (EPBD), the new 10% renewable energy target and the requirements of part L or F-Gas of the Building Regulations. Together we will work with you to ensure compliance and can quantify a building's energy efficiency and CO2 emissions.

Accelerated Tax Relief
The Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) scheme rewards investment in energy saving systems on the Energy Technology List (ETL) with accelerated tax relief. Businesses may be able to claim 100% first year capital allowances and write off costs against taxable profits in the year of purchase. Ask us for further details, or visit www.eca.gov.uk/etl
Interest Free Energy Efficiency Loans
Energy efficiency loans are intended to offer capital to replace or upgrade existing equipment with more energy efficient versions.
If you are a small or medium sized enterprise in England, Wales and Scotland (or any sized enterprise for project sites based in Northern Ireland) and have been trading for 12 months or more you may qualify to borrow between £3,000 and £100,000 interest free and unsecured, over up to 4 years, from the Carbon Trust.
